🌱 Sustainability at Our Core

Sustainability is important to OneTone. We’re getting greener every step of the way while still providing you with the quality products you deserve. Around 85% of all textiles produced by the fashion industry end up in landfills, making it a major contributor to environmental damage. What’s more, one in every five items produced by the fashion industry reaches landfills without being worn even once.

At OneTone, we’re committed to changing that. By working with on-demand suppliers, we only produce items we get an order for, avoiding textile waste from overproduction. Our printing partner’s high-quality printing technology creates almost no wastewater and uses less energy than standard industry printers, helping us reduce our environmental impact without compromising quality.

Thoughtful Production, On-Demand

Each product you see in our catalog is made on-demand—once you place an order, we produce it specifically for you. This not only allows us to avoid overproduction and minimize textile waste, but it also ensures every item we create is made with care and purpose.

Advanced Printing Technology

Our clothing designs are fulfilled using cutting-edge techniques. Many of our products are printed with the direct-to-garment (DTG) method, where ink is sprayed directly onto the fabric and soaks in, similar to printing on paper. We use Kornit printers, which generate almost zero wastewater and use significantly less energy than standard industry printers, lowering our carbon footprint.

The inks used in our printing process are Oeko-Tex™ certified, vegan, water-based, and free of harmful chemicals. At OneTone, we take sustainability seriously and ensure any leftover ink is properly disposed of according to supplier guidelines.

Durable Embroidery

For our embroidered designs, we use Oeko-Tex™ certified threads, ensuring they’re safe for both adults and children. Embroidery is not only durable but also produces less environmental waste compared to other techniques.

Eco-Friendly Materials

Sustainability starts with the materials we use. Our eco-friendly product collection includes items made with at least 70% organic or recycled materials—or a thoughtful mix of both. While not all our products are fully sustainable yet, we’re continuously working to expand this collection and improve our practices.
